Testing Opens is usually the first thing done to make sure the service works. Here is some information on testing so you know what to expect.
Do not send an email to yourself to test Opens. When you Track an email a cookie is set in your browser to prevent you from getting Opens from yourself. Plain text emails will also not be tracked.
1. Track your Email normally.
2. Open the email on a different device, or in a different browser from the one you sent the email from. Opening the email from a mobile device is a great way to test Opens.
Some email programs will also block images by default, which is how we determine an open
. When testing, make sure that images are being displayed in the message.
