Howdy from Dallas! PRSA Connect 16 was a blast.
With a full agenda packed into just two days, this was an exciting conference to be a part of. We had a chance to meet many new faces as well as connect with the communicators that shared their strategies and stories in the keynotes and breakout sessions.
One idea that kept coming up over and over again was the need for comms to be both strategic and fun. Yes, Internal can be fun. It should be fun. Now is the time to try new things, even if your organization has “always done things a certain way”.
Whether that’s guerrilla style video, six word stories, or a mobile-first mentality -- in the age of the employee experience, Internal Comms is instrumental for not only employee engagement, but for the organization’s success.
Communicators are champions of trust. #prsaconnect

In the words of Steve Crescenzo, Internal Communications is going through a renaissance, fuelled by creative ideas and measurable results. A special shoutout to Chuck Gose for introducing us to the most Texan of Texan steakhouses. We felt like locals!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and chatted with us —- you’ll hear from us soon.
See you at the next PRSA Connect in 2017 in beautiful Denver, Colorado!
