Why we've updated our look and feel

We’ve outgrown our old brand.

We’ve done a lot of growing in the last 5 years. In fact, this year Deloitte recognized Bananatag for our rapid growth, entrepreneurial spirit, and bold innovation with a highly-coveted Fast 50 award.

And we just welcomed our 100th banana to the team!

All of this growth has inspired a lot of reflecting on where we’ve been, how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed. 

When we started to take stock of where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow, we realized that a lot has changed, including the focus of our product and our biggest differentiator in the market. 

And up until now, that change hasn’t really been reflected in our branding. 

We’re more than just a tool.

Looking back over the past 5 years, we’ve seen a huge shift in how we think about our product and our services. 

We love building awesome internal communication tools and are proud to offer the best employee email designer on the market, in-depth email analytics to help you measure your internal comms, embedded email pulse surveys to help you measure employee engagement, and our game-changing list management features to help you send more targeted communications.


But we’ve evolved into more than just a tool for sending employee emails. 

After spending some time chatting with our customers and doing some soul searching internally, we realized that the thing that makes us great is our focus on people–both the individual communicators we serve and all of the people behind the scenes at Bananatag making our product and services better every day.  

We’ve always found meaning in our work by focusing on our users and customers, and how we can make their lives a little easier while helping them elevate communication in their organization. 

And it’s worked out well for us. 

Internally, we’ve all chosen to work here for basically the same reasons: the connections we’ve made, the people we get to meet and help, and the impact we make in each other’s lives. 

And the snacks (of course). 

Jokes aside, we do find the most meaning in our work when we can make a difference in our customers’ lives.

And this boils down to one important principle that we’ve chosen to fully embrace:

At the end of the day, we’ve realized that it’s all about people.  

Our people are fun, joyful, empathetic, and generous--and our old logo just didn’t capture our spirit. 

So we’re saying a thankful goodbye to the old Bananatag logo and branding and are proud to introduce you to the new us.
